When it comes to denim, I am definitely a creature of habit. And that means I buy almost all of my denim from AGOLDE. There are exceptions of course, I love my Everlane mom jeans, I have a few great pairs from 7 for all Mankind and Madewell, and I LOVEEEE this pair of wide leg jeans from Wandler but otherwise, it’s pretty much AGOLDE all the way. I always get asked for size details and think AGOLDE is pretty true to size. I would say to go one size bigger than your Madewell or Everlane size. I am 5’8 and typically wear a 6 in dresses and tops, and an 8 or a 29 in denim. I’m wearing a 29 in all sizes featured here. Proportionally, I have wider hips and littler legs (relative to the rest of my body) so I prefer styles that have a touch of stretch. That way, they fit my hips and thighs but remain fitted (at least, if they are meant to be!) throughout the leg.

For shorts, I also love AGOLDE. With other brands I have found myself going up one size vs. my jeans, but with AGOLDE I am the same size across the board.

I am sharing my favorites below, but Shopbop has a big denim guide up with all the latest trends and styles of the season. I’m skipping the baggy jean trend but am excited about cropped wide leg styles, bootcut, and of course more shorts!

AGOLDE Kye Straight Crop Jeans

These (above) are a favorite pair and I think actually look better on a “regular” person than a model. They look really loose and baggy on the model but in person, they are more of a girlfriend fit. Slightly loose, but not overtly slouchy — the model looks a little sloppy? I will say that in hindsight I do wish I sized down as they stretch out quite a bit. I wore them on my most recent flight to LA and they were really stretched out by the time I arrived.

AGOLDE Riley Crop jeans

My absolute favorite white denim. These hold you in, the fabric is nice and thick, and the cut is just right. A slight flare that hits right at the ankle. I love them. I may buy a second pair just so that they’re never in the wash.

AGOLDE Riley High Rise Straight Crop Jeans

These are probably my most worn jeans. There is *just* enough stretch. My weight can fluctuate, so if I am up a couple pounds, they still fit thanks to stretch. If I am having a thinner day, they also still fit. They are magical jeans, make your butt look great, hit at just the right spot of the ankle, they’re perfect.

AGOLDE Parker Jeans

I love this pair. Similar to the Kye, it looks better in real life vs. the model. I *think* Liz Adams featured this pair of jeans and it inspired me to try them as they looked so cute on her but a little dumpy on the model. They are really comfortable, a nice light (but not too light) wash, and very cute on. Again, just the perfect amount of stretch.

Parker Long Loose Vintage Shorts

These are my favorite shorts. I have them in so many styles and they are just the best. They fit so well through the butt and hips, they are long enough but not too long, just the greatest. I cannot recommend them enough; I’ll probably buy this style until they discontinue it someday and then I will cry!
